All claims requesting payment or reimbursement must be submitted to Merit for processing no later than July 15, 2024. Any funds that are not expended by July 1, 2024 will no longer be available. Claims submitted after July 15, 2024 will not be approved.
*Clarification for service dates/close down for camps: Claims for day camps that have been paid for by parents may be reimbursed if the service date occurs through September 1, 2024. The claim is only reimbursable for day camps during this time period if the parent has paid up front and prior to July 1, 2024.
Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:
1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.
2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
Please check with each Service Provider ahead of a purchasing decision to ensure you are aware of their policy regarding payment at time of service or invoicing.

The mission of the DSNH is to create and provide meaningful and entertaining learning experiences for curious minds to engage with natural history, science, and nature while honoring and preserving collections for future generations. Today, in addition to diligently curating over 1.8 million objects in its collection, BMD is a children's museum, planetarium, science center, and zoo. We are the only place to offer K-12 planetary space and astronomy informal education in the Dayton area. We also offer world-class exhibitions, experiences, and programs, and we employ highly educated and knowledgeable staff members in a variety of disciplines including astronomy, education, anthropology, paleontology, biology, physics, and zoology. To fulfill our mission and serve the community, we strive for responsive programs that are of the highest quality. Our distance learning programs have been recognized multiple times by the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration for their exceptional quality and participant feedback. In addition, we have a long history of community partnerships, outreach programs, and astronomy education.
