Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:
1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.
2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
Please check with each Service Provider ahead of a purchasing decision to ensure you are aware of their policy regarding payment at time of service or invoicing.

I teach private violin and viola lessons in my home studio, as well as coach strings in local youth symphonies and school orchestras. I also lead a string ensemble at Malone University in Canton. I hold degrees in violin performance from the Manhattan and Eastman Schools of Music, and have over 30 years' experience as a teacher, performer and music coach. I love teaching students of all ages and ability levels, providing instruction using both the Suzuki Method and traditional approaches. My lessons provide high level musical training, but also help students develop self-discipline, practice and study skills, the ability to meet challenges, and cultivate problem-solving skills. Aside from these skills, creating music has been well-documented to improve emotional health, reduce stress, and increase self-esteem. My approach to teaching assumes that all children/people are capable of learning, regardless of innate talent, and I espouse Dr. Shinichi Suzuki's philosophy of "talent education". A large part of my approach is to partner with parents in educating the whole family on how to develop musical literacy and competence, which includes coaching the parent on how to encourage and work with their children at home. This approach builds relationships within the family, and provides support for long-term musical enjoyment.
