Valentine Theatre presents entertaining and educational programming for children and families throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Our Valentine School Days is an educational theatre outreach program for students in grades Pre-K-12 that ties live, professional theatrical performances to popular, award-winning children’s books, making it an approachable avenue to engage youth in literacy and reading. Performances meet Ohio Common Core standards in STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) and are offered on weekdays throughout the school year. We present about 14 - 16 performances annually of School Days; shows are at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Tickets are $9 for groups of 15 or more; $10 for groups of 14 or less. Our Weekend Family Series is now Sensory-Friendly for families with children diagnosed with Autism and/or Autism Sensory Disorders, or those families with young children or anyone seeking a more relaxed theatre-going experience. We offer three to four performances each year, featuring professional touring companies. Tickets for individual shows are $13 - $20; season tickets for the entire Family Series are $42 - $62 and include admission to all four performances.
