Educational Value

SOS is a non-profit organization in existence since 1993 with a mission to enrich the lives of children and families through innovative, education and life skill programs. We have been providing summer days camp for 8 years, after-school tutoring and homework help at Bolton school for 3 years. Providing tutoring at Bolton for 3 years has made us see firsthand the challenges children face with understanding their homework, focusing on the assignments and getting the support within the family structure. We are accredited by the American Camp Association and Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. We also provide extracurricular opportunities for high school students. We have developed supportive relationships with institutions that address the social determinants of health (SDoh) and social and emotional learning.
