ACE Extension Announcement

Great news! Families who have been awarded funds from the Afterschool Child Enrichment Education Savings Account program (ACE) have more time to spend their money. The deadline for families to spend funds was previously July 1, 2024 and has now been extended to September 1, 2025. Please note, that the ACE program is fully subscribed, and no more accounts may be awarded. The extension applies to families with existing accounts only.

Marketplace Update

Layers of Learning offers courses in history, geography, science, art, and language arts for students from 1st through 12th grade. The activities are intended to be used family-style, with everyone learning together through a series of pick-and-choose activities offered by level. These are hands-on, interactive lessons that include projects, printables, discussion questions, library lists, and a YouTube playlist. The courses and accompanying student journals are available in both paperback and PDF formats. Your family will love learning and growing together with Layers of Learning. Homeschoolers may only purchase the following:

  • Learning curriculum (including books)
  • Learning materials: consumables i.e. supplies which are consumed, destroyed, or expended by the student in the process of use
  • Manipulatives: physical objects that are used as teaching tools to engage students in hands-on learning.
