ACE Extension Announcement

Great news! Families who have been awarded funds from the Afterschool Child Enrichment Education Savings Account program (ACE) have more time to spend their money. The deadline for families to spend funds was previously July 1, 2024 and has now been extended to September 1, 2025. Please note, that the ACE program is fully subscribed, and no more accounts may be awarded. The extension applies to families with existing accounts only.

Hewitt Learning publishes Lightning Literature (Language Arts curriculum) and MC Detective Agency - Chemical Solutions Required (Comic format chemistry curriculum), as well as publishing and/or providing other resources aimed at enhancing the availability and accessibility of curriculum to meet the needs of our diverse population. In addition, Hewitt publishes the Personalized Achievement Summary System (PASS Test), used to both assess student achievement and often meet state testing standards, and administers the National Innovator Challenge, providing youth an opportunity to develop innovative ideas, apps, and inventions in an accessible and affordable format. Homeschoolers may only purchase the following:

  • Learning curriculum (including books)
  • Learning materials: consumables i.e. supplies which are consumed, destroyed, or expended by the student in the process of use
  • Manipulatives: physical objects that are used as teaching tools to engage students in hands-on learning.
