Educational Value

The Office of Engagement at the Art Academy of Cincinnati offers art courses, workshops, and programming for students of all ages. For K-12 students, programs include Camp Art Academy, Teen Academy, Future BFA, and a regional outreach and enrichment program called Artist & Writer in Residence. Students can register for offerings after school or on the weekends during the academic school year and join in on full-day programming during the summer. Students learn essential skills in creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication through a studio-based learning environment that incorporates art-making with educational success. All art programming takes a global art history approach that teaches students about art and design from around the world. Students learn on campus at the Art Academy of Cincinnati in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati.

Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:

1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.

2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
