GIRLS CAN! CRATE is a monthly subscription service that delivers, over the course of the selected subscription length, a women’s history course of study, exploring the contributions of diverse women, the social and political experiences that shaped their lives, and helping children evaluate their contributions to the world today. Each crate or mini-mailer includes an educational booklet exploring the featured woman’s story and her contributions, as well as relevant information related to her field and the instructions and materials needed for hands-on projects to further children’s understanding of the woman’s impact on history. Additionally, age-appropriate arts education, English language arts, mathematics, and science standards are woven into each lesson to deepen the understanding of each woman’s particular contributions. Only approved educational items are reimbursable. Please visit this link for full details.

Homeschoolers may only purchase the following:

  • Learning curriculum (including books)
  • Learning materials: consumables i.e. supplies which are consumed, destroyed, or expended by the student in the process of use
  • Manipulatives: physical objects that are used as teaching tools to engage students in hands-on learning.

Please note that ACE account funds cannot be used for the purchase of electronic devices.
