Miacademy, Always Icecream, Clever Dragons, and MiaPrep is designed to support learners of all abilities. We believe that accessible education is essential and we have several features in place to support learner variability. Our program is highly flexible and allows you to easily assign lessons across grade levels to best suit your child's needs. You can also customize the schedule for your child, including setting desired start and end dates, and desired school days for each course. You can also add or remove any lesson or lesson component as needed, and make changes anytime. Our engaging, multifaceted academics are designed to provide a well-rounded education that can be learned and applied in different modalities. Our lessons include multiple tools such as engaging videos, multi-sensory PDFs, interactive practice, and optional assessments. Additionally, many lessons have an auditory component so that questions and answers are read aloud to the student through our Text-to-Speech feature. We also provide immediate feedback through color and sound, highlighting correct and wrong answers, and suggesting correct answers to reduce frustration and promote concept retention. Furthermore, children can work through lessons or watch teaching videos as often as needed to internalize the concepts, and we are in the process of adding closed captioning to all of our teaching videos.
