Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:
1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.
2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
Please check with each Service Provider ahead of a purchasing decision to ensure you are aware of their policy regarding payment at time of service or invoicing.

The Oberlin Community Music School (CMS) of the Oberlin Conservatory seeks to provide students with an exceptional educational and artistic experience while fostering a lifelong appreciation and commitment to excellence in music. The function of the CMS is to promote the broader missions of the Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College: the performance, creation, and study of music at the highest level. The CMS accepts all students regardless of level, talent and financial constraints. We are dedicated to educating the casual musician as well as those heading toward a career in music. Private lessons are offered in almost all orchestral instruments, piano, guitar and harp. Accompanying classes are also offered to enhance the student's musical knowledge and education. Our highly-educated faculty have masters and doctorate degrees, and many have 20+ years of teaching experience. Music study has many benefits in addition to learning about music as shown in this article: http://www.pbs.org/parents/education/music-arts/the-benefits-of-music-education. In addition, the CMS has followed suit with the Oberlin Conservatory's Diversity and Equity plan, https://www.oberlin.edu/dean-of-the-conservatory/racial-equity-diversity-action-plan, by expanding our teaching and performing repertoire to that of lesser represented composers. Regular recitals help students to develop memory skills, performing skills and self-confidence. Private lessons are offered in almost all orchestral instruments, piano, guitar and harp. Accompanying classes are also offered to enhance the student's musical knowledge and education.
