IMPORTANT PROGRAM UPDATE

The federal funds used to operate this project are scheduled to expire later this year. As a result, all ACE funds must be used for allowable activities no later than July 1, 2024. (Dates of service must occur before July 1, 2024.)*

All claims requesting payment or reimbursement must be submitted to Merit for processing no later than July 15, 2024. Any funds that are not expended by July 1, 2024 will no longer be available. Claims submitted after July 15, 2024 will not be approved.

*Clarification for service dates/close down for camps: Claims for day camps that have been paid for by parents may be reimbursed if the service date occurs through September 1, 2024. The claim is only reimbursable for day camps during this time period if the parent has paid up front and prior to July 1, 2024.

. Homeschool Art Box offers art education boxes centered around an historical master of art. Our boxes include everything needed for a full art lesson and project featuring a famous artist. No prep necessary for the teacher, just open the box and get started. Each box provides four pages of lesson materials covering biographical information, historical context, in-depth looks at particular works of art, art movement/style information, art media, terminology, and other points of interest. Also included are two prints of the artist's work for art appreciation. Full-color, step-by-step instructions lead students through a related art project and all the art supplies needed are included in the box. Homeschool Art Box lessons are designed for 1st through 8th grade students and works as a great multi-age class. Art box options are provided for 1 to 4 students, including extra supplies for the additional students. In addition, we offer print lesson only options as well as digital download options for families that prefer to provide their own art supplies. Individual, subscription, and pre-paid options are available. Over the course of a school year (September through May), students will experience in-depth learning about nine different artists of history. Each year begins with a pre-Renaissance/Renaissance artist and progresses through art history to a modern artist. Students experience the big picture of art each year, but learn about different individual artists each year. We have four years of content without repeating artists.   • Learning curriculum (including books)
  • Learning materials: consumables i.e. supplies which are consumed, destroyed, or expended by the student in the process of use
  • Manipulatives: physical objects that are used as teaching tools to engage students in hands-on learning.
