Educational Value

I offer piano lessons to students of all ages, providing them the opportunity to explore the world of music and master a new skill. Learning to play the piano helps students develop their musical tastes, abilities, awareness, and creativity, and enhances cognitive development in every area of their life. Through lessons, they acquire life skills of self-discipline, patience, and rewarding hard work. Studies show that musical education can enhance mathematical skills, critical thinking, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, among many other things. It is also a form of therapy, allowing students to express their emotions and creativity via sound, which is especially helpful for students that struggle to express and experience their emotions through words. Learning to play the piano also gives students the opportunity to be able to make a living for themselves through their piano education, either by becoming a performing artist, or becoming a teacher themselves.
