OrangeTEC Learning Group (OLG) is a leading tutoring service provider based in Cleveland, OH. With a team of passionate highly qualified tutors, lead by Ms. Melanie Cummings, we strive to empower students of all ages to reach their full potential. Our personalized approach to learning, combined with innovative teaching techniques, ensures that each student receives the individual attention they need to succeed. Whether it's academic support, homework assistance, test preparation, or skill enhancement, OLG is committed to helping students excel in their studies and achieve their educational goals. We will design and provide customized lessons based on each student's needs and provide guidance, instruction, and support to enhance the student's academic performance. OrangeTEC Learning Group (OLG) provides in person and virtual one-on-one tutoring to students in grades K-4 for assistance in math, reading, and writing. Our goal is to provide quality, loving support for children in an atmosphere that will balance academics with positive motivation and fun. Tutoring can be provided at a local library, school, church or your home. Tutoring can be scheduled as half hour, 1 hour, hour & half, or 2 hour sessions. After our registration & "favorites" form is completed, we will contact you to set-up a time for the initial meeting and assessment. After we analyze the assessment, we will share the results and our goals with an estimated timeline and plan to reach our goals. Goals are always reached faster when the family partners with us. Typically our plans include using videos, whiteboards, animated presentation slides, board games, card games, or electronic games to reinforce and review the focus skill(s). We understand using interactive manipulatives that require hands-on learning is one of the best ways to help children learn and retain skills. Learning to sequence numbers is way more engaging when the numbers are on toy cars or marshmallows vs index cards. :-) When the child appears to have mastered the focus skill, we will re-assess and progress when they have proven they are ready. Remember what Ms. Melanie always says: Flex your brain muscles a little bit every day--it goes a long way and all the way to your goal! All things are possible with hard work and dedication!
